I travel for work a LOT. It seems I'm on a plane almost every week -- and I absolutely despise checking a suitcase. So, naturally, I've amassed quite the collection of beauty products perfect for travel. (Side note: products over 3.4 fl. oz. are my own personal nemesis.) I've tried many, many, MANY eye creams over the years. And while I have a few favorites, this is quickly becoming one I don't leave home without. It gets rid of dark circles and hydrates the under-eye area, both of which I need on sleepless travel nights.
I'm not going to lie -- I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cleansing my face. Plus, cleanser is definitely not on the top of my list in the products I absolutely need to pack. I have tons of cleansing wipes, but these consistently make their way into my suitcase because of their fresh scent and their ability to consistently remove every stitch of makeup and debris.
There is absolutely nothing worse than the dry skin that occurs after sitting on an airplane. So much moisture is sucked out of the skin just in a one-hour plane ride -- so I always travel with my miniature tube of this sweetly scented body cream for instant hydration.
If there's one thing I absolutely need to bring with me when I travel, it's a great body wash. Strangely, many don't come in travel-friendly sizes! But luckily, Bath & Body Works is here to save the day with minis in all their most fabulous scents. I tend to gravitate toward Warm Vanilla Sugar, but they've got so many to choose from that you're guaranteed to find a scent you love.
Sometimes you just have a tweezing emergency. Well, when that happens, reach for a pair of Tweezerman tweezers! Whether you like the pointy or the slanted (I prefer both for different types of situations), there are tons of colors and prints to choose from that will both brighten up your travel bag AND rid your face of any unwanted hairs in a flash.
I think it's pretty obvious by now that I'm obsessed with doing my nails. And when I'm traveling -- even if it's only for a day or two -- I need different nail polishes at the ready for my daily manicures! Rather than carry around a big bottle of nail polish remover, though, I've taken to stowing a tub of this lifesaver in my carry-on. Just dip your finger in, swirl it around a bit and let the remover-soaked sponge work its magic. Immediately.
When your skin is parched, treat it right with this face mask. I like to slather it on right before bed and just sleep with it -- and then I wake up to beautiful, glowing, gorgeous skin!
Want to smell divine? This is the scent for you. A blend of rose, amber and peony flower are at once sexy, sensual and alluring -- and you'll be told you smell amazing all day (and night) long.
